GURINDER S. AHLUWALIA
President and Chief Executive Officer
Gurinder is responsible for leading Genworth Financial Wealth Management from the firm's corporate offices in Pleasant Hill, California.
He has over 20 years of executive management experience with GE and Genworth Financial. He served as President and CEO of Genworth Financial Asset Management, where he oversaw the restructuring of the firm's wealth management business and helped guide the integration of GFAM and AssetMark.
Gurinder holds a BS in Computer Science from New York University, a BE in Electrical Engineering from Cooper Union, and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

RON CORDES
Co-Chairman
Ron works in Genworth Financial Wealth Management's corporate offices in Pleasant Hill, California, where he focuses on strategic initiatives designed to grow and expand the business. He previously shared joint day-to-day responsibility for the business with CEO Gurinder Ahluwalia. He currently serves on a number of non-profit boards involved in microfinance, social entrepreneurship and global economic development.
Along with Richard Steiny, he was a co-founder of AssetMark, which was acquired by Genworth Financial in 2006. He co-authored The Art of Investing & Portfolio Management published in 2004 by McGraw-Hill.
Ron received his BS in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley in 1981.

RICHARD STEINY
Co-Chairman
Richard provides strategic leadership on practice management and product design for Genworth Financial Wealth Management's Consulting operations and Strategic Accounts initiatives.
Along with Ron Cordes, he was a co-founder of AssetMark, which was acquired by Genworth Financial in 2006. He co-authored The Art of Investing & Portfolio Management, published in 2004 by McGraw-Hill.
Richard received a BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley in 1979, and his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 1982.

MICHAEL ABELSON, CFA
Senior Vice President of Investment & Product Management
Mike is responsible for Product Development, Product Management, and other firm-wide Growth Initiatives.
Mike joined the firm in 1994 and has served in various leadership roles ranging from operations and service, to project management and business development. Most recently, he has played a leadership role in Genworth's acquisition of AssetMark Investment Services and GFAM into GFWM. Further, he has led the reconfiguration and expansion of the GFWM product suite.
Mike earned his MBA from The Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California in 1997, and earned his Chartered Financial Analyst designation (CFA) in 2000.

CARRIE E. HANSEN, CPA
Senior Vice President
Chief Operations Officer
President, Mutual Funds
Carrie manages all operations functions for the firm, overseeing Genworth Financial Trust Company, Service, Trading, Account Operations, Billing, Contract Administration, Compliance and Facilities. In addition, as President of Mutual Funds, Carrie is responsible for directing the activities the three fund families for which GFWM serves as Advisor, including the AssetMark Funds, the Genworth Variable Insurance Trusts and Genworth Contra Funds.
Carrie joined the firm in July, 2000 and since then has held several critical roles in the organization including, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. Carrie was instrumental in directing the integration of GFWM's predecessor firms, AssetMark and Genworth Financial Asset Management.
Prior to joining GFWM, Carrie worked for Barclays Global Investors, where she headed the Investment Operations Group in the Tokyo, Japan office. Prior to Barclay's Carrie was an Audit Manager for Coopers & Lybrand, where she earned her CPA designation. Carrie holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley and is a Certified Public Accountant.

JANE C. LOCK, SPHR
Director of Human Resources
Jane supports Human Resources across all Genworth Financial Wealth Management's locations from our corporate headquarters in Pleasant Hill, California. In addition, she focuses on helping drive strategic business imperatives.
Originally from London, Jane joined GFWM in 2008. She has over 20 years of experience bringing best practices and sound HR strategies to a wide range of businesses.

CAMERON MILLER
Chief Financial Officer
Cameron is responsible for managing the financial accounting, reporting, analysis and strategy for Genworth's Wealth Management sub-segment including Genworth Financial Wealth Management, Inc. He joined GFWM in 2009.
Cameron has over fourteen years of experience, most recently at Lovell Minnick Partners, a private equity firm focused on the financial services industry. As an investment professional at Lovell Minnick, he worked on a wide range of transactions including both minority and control investments in a variety of businesses including asset managers, broker-dealers, hedge funds and fund of funds, private equity fund of funds, financial technology, business services and specialty finance. Cameron was involved in the firm's investment in AssetMark Investment Services, Inc. and served on that firm's board of directors until AssetMark's acquisition by Genworth Financial. Prior to Lovell Minnick, Cameron worked as an investment banker at Putnam Lovell, advising clients on assignments including minority sales, control sales, recapitalizations, valuations and fairness opinions. Clients included firms in the institutional, mutual fund, high net worth/private client and alternative asset businesses.
Cameron holds a BA in Economics from Pomona College and an MBA in Finance, with honors, from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

JOHN W. MURRAY
Chief Information Officer
John is responsible for ensuring that GFWM delivers an industry-leading technology platform to independent financial advisors. He assumed the CIO role in 2008 after working extensively with the firm as head of his own technology consulting business. John started his career as an investment-banker in New York and San Francisco and subsequently founded and led a series of global software and technology services businesses. He is very active in his community serving on a number of non-profit boards and state and local commissions, primarily focused on parks and youth-development.
John received a Bachelor of Science from the USC Marshall School of Business and a MBA from the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.

DAN O'TOOLE

National Sales Director
Dan is responsible for managing all of Genworth Financial Asset Management's internal and external sales and consulting activities, including hiring and training sales and consulting personnel.
After the acquisition of AssetMark in 2006, Dan oversaw the integration of the GFAM and AssetMark sales and consulting teams.
He holds a BA in Economics from San Diego State University.

MARK SCHOENBECK, CFP
Chief Marketing Officer
Director of Practice Management
Mark is responsible for Genworth Financial Wealth Management's marketing strategies, public relations and corporate events. In addition, he also oversees practice management services, including GFWM's award-winning Mastery program.
After starting his career as an independent Financial Advisor, Mark assumed various senior leadership positions within the industry, including working for a large independent Broker Dealer and a third party asset management firm. He has published articles on various practice management subjects in Financial Planning, Investment Advisor, and Investment News.
Mark holds a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship from California Lutheran University.
