GURINDER S. AHLUWALIA
President and Chief Executive Officer
Gurinder is responsible for leading Genworth Financial Wealth Management from the firm’s corporate offices in Pleasant Hill, California. He has over 20 years of executive management experience with GE and Genworth Financial. Gurinder served as President and CEO of Genworth Financial Asset Management, Inc. (GFAM), where he oversaw the restructuring of the firm’s wealth management business and helped guide the integration of GFAM and AssetMark Investment Services. That integration culminated in what is today Genworth Financial Wealth Management, a single platform offering comprehensive investment management, client relationship management and practice management solutions to financial advisors.
Gurinder has been instrumental in expanding the footprint of Genworth Financial Wealth Management to increase capabilities for the independent advisors it serves. In 2008, Gurinder led the acquisition by Genworth Financial of Quantuvis Consulting, a consulting firm that is dedicated to assisting independent financial advisors with practice management. Most recently, in 2010 he spearheaded the Genworth Financial purchase of the Altegris companies, which include an investment platform focused on a broad suite of alternative investments.
Gurinder holds a BS in Computer Science from New York University, a BE in Electrical Engineering from Cooper Union, and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

RON CORDES
Co-Chairman
Along with other senior leaders, Ron focuses on strategic initiatives designed to grow and expand Genworth Wealth Management. He also serves on a number of non-profit boards involved in microfinance, social entrepreneurship and global economic development.
Along with Richard Steiny, he was a co-founder of AssetMark, which was acquired by Genworth Financial in 2006. He co-authored The Art of Investing & Portfolio Management published in 2004 by McGraw-Hill.
Ron received his BS in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley in 1981.

RICHARD STEINY
Co-Chairman
Richard provides strategic leadership on practice management and product design for Genworth Financial Wealth Management's Consulting operations and Strategic Accounts initiatives.
Along with Ron Cordes, he was a co-founder of AssetMark, which was acquired by Genworth Financial in 2006. He co-authored The Art of Investing & Portfolio Management, published in 2004 by McGraw-Hill.
Richard received a BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley in 1979, and his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 1982.

MICHAEL ABELSON, CFA
Senior Vice President of Investment & Product Management
Mike is responsible for Product Development, Product Management, and other firm-wide Growth Initiatives.
Mike joined the firm in 1994 and has served in various leadership roles ranging from operations and service, to project management and business development. Most recently, he has played a leadership role in Genworth's acquisition of AssetMark Investment Services and GFAM into GFWM. Further, he has led the reconfiguration and expansion of the GFWM product suite.
Mike earned his MBA from The Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California in 1997, and earned his Chartered Financial Analyst designation (CFA) in 2000.

TED ANGUS
General Counsel
Ted is responsible for managing the Legal Department across all Genworth Financial Wealth Management businesses. Ted has over 15 years of experience providing legal services to financial services companies.
Prior to joining Genworth, Ted was Vice President, Associate General Counsel at Charles Schwab, providing legal and regulatory counseling to a variety of Schwab business enterprises. Ted started his professional career at two law firms as a securities litigator, primarily representing financial services companies in securities arbitrations, SEC investigations and shareholder class actions.
Ted earned a BA in History and a BA in Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1992 and a JD from the University of California Hastings College of the Law in 1996.

DANIEL COURTNEY
President, Genworth Financial Asset Management
Dan is responsible for developing, managing and executing the business plan and growth strategy, including broad consideration of products, target markets and brand strategy, for Genworth Financial Asset Management (GFAM), an affiliate investment arm of Genworth Wealth Management. He joined GFAM in 2012, bringing more than 15 years of investment management sales and marketing leadership to the firm. Dan graduated from Southeast Missouri State University and completed the Marketing and Investment Management Program at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He holds FINRA Series 7, 22, 24 and 63 licenses. |

RYAN HALVERSON
Vice President, Human Resources
Ryan is responsible for Human Resources (HR) across all Genworth Financial Wealth Management businesses. Since joining Genworth in 2005, Ryan has held a variety of positions within HR supporting Genworth’s Retirement & Protection, US Mortgage Insurance and Sr. Supplemental Insurance divisions. Ryan joined the Wealth Management team in 2010.
Ryan holds a BS in Sociology from Brigham Young University and a Masters degree in HR from the School of Industrial & Labor Relations at Cornell University.

JAMES HANNA
Chief Technology Officer
James is responsible for ensuring that Genworth Wealth Management delivers an industry-leading technology platform to help independent financial advisors and their clients. He joined the firm in 2013, bringing to the firm 25 years of senior technology leadership. Previously James was at Bank of the West, where he became Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer in 2005. Prior to Bank of the West, he held positions at Fidelity Information Services and Alltel Information Services. He holds a BS in Business Administration, Information Systems from The Ohio State University. |

CARRIE E. HANSEN, CPA
Senior Vice President
Chief Operations Officer
President, Mutual Funds
Carrie leads all Operations, Technology and Service functions for the firm including Advisor Services, Trading, New Business, Account Operations, Billing and Facilities, while also overseeing all custodial relationships including Genworth Financial Trust Company. In addition, as President of Mutual Funds, Carrie directs three fund families for which Genworth Financial Wealth Management serves as Advisor.
Carrie joined the firm in July, 2000 and has held several critical roles in the organization including, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to joining GFWM, Carrie worked for Barclays Global Investors, where she headed the Investment Operations Group in the Tokyo, Japan office. Prior to Barclay's Carrie was an Audit Manager for Coopers & Lybrand, where she earned her CPA designation. Carrie holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley and is a Certified Public Accountant.

MICHAEL KIM
Senior Vice President
Michael is responsible for Business and Channel Development. Michael has over 20 years of experience working with financial advisors in various different capacities. Prior to joining Genworth, Michael was a Senior Vice President at Fidelity Investments, responsible for functions including Sales Management, Relationship Management and Practice Management. For over 12 years, Michael provided solutions and leadership in working with independent investment advisors that used Fidelity Investments for custody of client accounts. Michael started his professional career at Coopers & Lybrand, LLC, a national public accounting firm, where he specialized in providing audit and consulting services to investment advisors, broker-dealers and mutual fund companies. Michael is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and received his BA in Economics from UCLA.

MATT MATRISIAN
Senior Vice-President and Director of Practice Management
Matt is responsible for enhancing the practice management offering provided by GFWM through assisting advisors in developing practice management initiatives, sustainable growth strategies, acquisition consulting and succession planning support.
Matt Matrisian has over 15 years of experience within the financial services industry. He has published articles and has been quoted in industry publications such as Financial Planning, Investment Advisor, Investment News, Boomer Market Advisor, and On Wall Street, and has been a guest speaker at industry conferences hosted by the Financial Planning Association (FPA), the Financial Services Institute (FSI) and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), as well as several firm-specific speaking engagements.
Matt holds a BA in Finance from the University of South Florida and an MBA from the University of Florida. He is a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute taught through the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, a Registered Corporate Coach with the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches® and a member of the Financial Services Institute. He holds the Series 4, 7, 24, and 63 securities licenses.

DAN O'TOOLE
Senior Vice President
National Sales Director
Dan is responsible for developing and leading Genworth Financial Wealth Management’s sales and consulting initiatives and overseeing the GFWM sales team.
Dan has more than twenty years of industry experience as a Financial Planner, Regional Consultant, and Regional and Senior Vice President. As Regional Consultant for AssetMark Investment Services, Dan served over 200 financial advisors in the greater Midwest region, bringing over $1 billion in assets to the Platform. When Genworth Financial acquired AssetMark in 2006, he worked with executive leadership to develop sales strategies and oversaw the integration of the sales and consulting teams for AssetMark and Genworth Financial Asset Management, Inc. Under his leadership, the combined team of over 80 sales consultants provides service and support for over 6,000 financial advisors representing nearly $20 billion in assets on the GFWM Platform.
Dan holds a BA in Economics from San Diego State University. In addition to registration with GFWM, Dan holds the Series 7, 26 and 63 registrations at GFWM’s affiliated broker-dealer.

MYRA ROTHFELD
Chief Marketing Officer
Myra leads marketing, brand strategy and client experience initiatives in support of GFWM’s business plan and growth initiatives. Under her leadership, the marketing team will accelerate its focus on content, tools, and positioning to help advisors as they grow and evolve their businesses.
Myra has 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and working with independent advisors. She has deep experience as a marketing executive for financial institutions including Charles Schwab, Citibank, and Shearson/American Express. Most recently at Citibank, she led the development of a new independent advisor channel to expand solutions for the bank’s high net worth clients. Prior to that, Myra was Senior Vice President, Marketing for Schwab Institutional where she was responsible for marketing, client experience and product management for the independent RIA business.
She holds a Bachelor’s of Science from Cornell University and earned an MBA from New York University, Stern School of Business.

BRAD WHEELER
President, Genworth Financial Trust Company
Brad is the President of Genworth Financial Trust Company, an affiliated custodian with over $14B of assets in custody and approximately 120,000 investment accounts. He has served in this capacity since January of 2003, and also is Vice President, Operations and Service for Genworth Wealth Management. Brad joined General Electric in 1999 and served as SVP, Business Development for GE Private Asset Management and SVP of Marketing for GE Financial Assurance’s Life Insurance business. Brad earned his MBA from Arizona State University and an undergraduate degree in Finance from Olivet Nazarene University.

GARY ZYLA
Chief Financial Officer
Gary joined Genworth seven years ago and has worked in both the Corporate and Retirement & Protection segments of the company. His previous roles include leader of the Capital Management team and Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis. Prior to joining Genworth, Gary worked as an actuary and financial analyst in New York and Washington, DC.
Gary has an MBA in Finance from the University of Maryland and Bachelors degrees in Math and History from the State University of New York-Binghamton.
