AssetMark Enhanced Fundamental Index Funds

Text Size:

The AssetMark Enhanced Fundamental Index Funds use some of the most progressive ideas in portfolio design.

Rather than construct an index based on capitalization size - which can lead to overweighting overvalued stocks and underweighting undervalued stocks - the Fundamental Index concept is based on a company's fundamental measures.

Research Affiliates®, the Funds' sub-advisor and the company that developed the Fundamental Index concept, tested an index based on fundamental measures of a company's underlying value - including book value, sales, dividends, and cash flow - projected over a 40-year period, and compared results with the average return of a cap-weighted index.

The result - investors can realize the benefits of traditional cap-weighted indexing, including diversification, low turnover and transparency, without the increased exposure to the speculative nature of a stock's current price.
